Sister Naijeria Toweett,

Allow me to come and share this sorrow with you. For I have known a sorrow such as yours and i do understands.
How well Hon Dr Toweett (pbuh) fell asleep! Like some proud river, widening toward the sea, Calmly and Grandly, Silently and Deep, Dads life joined Eternity. The truest end of life is to know that life never ends. Death is no more than a turning of us over from time to Eternity. Life is a voyage that is homeward bound. Kenya was Dads Motherland but Heaven is His Fatherland. So -:
It is not darkness, Dad went to, For God is Light.
It is not Loneliness, For Christ is with Him.
It is not Unknown country cos the Angels are present.
-Dads presence was benediction,
-His Love and Warmth and Care
shone through transparent eyes.
-He continues to inspire us in
all our endeavour.
-Our shining Torch through Time
immemorial.

Virtue lives beyond the Grave.

Peace Be Upon Him (P.B.U.H)

Hello,
we haven't met but I learned about your father a long time ago (in a GHC class).
I picked up his text on Kalenjin Linguistics recently to analyze it for a class I'm taking. He was thorough and brilliant especially so on the "imperfect verbal aspect" and the "imperfect aspect suffixes." He bequeathed a wealth of knowledge to all humanity.

I hope you shall rejoice in this man's selfless dedication and determination (also read his life story).
